    Buying a new bike

So im buying a new bike before the winter comes... So i can have something nice to look forward to in the spring...

My options are Gxsr 600 or 750 the r6 or the newer ninja 600.

Any particular bikes that are better than the other??? Im just asking cause im not really sure what i like.

I am kinda leaning towards the gsxr600...

    feedback would be nice

    thx

HONDA! (best fit & finish of the major 4 and the only one you didn't list . . . CBR600RR)

    GSX-R fit me much better.

    I've got over 20k on my 06' GSX-R and
she still purrs like the day i got her

I am partial toward Honda (ya think?), however, I am with Bill in when he says to sit on all of them to see what fits you best.

I have also owned a GSX-R 750 and it was a very solid bike.

    600cc bikes:

    Looks - R6 hands down
    Track ability - GSXR600
Street ability - CBR600RR (but pretty darn good on the track, too)

    750CC bikes:

There is only one. GSX/R 750. I own one, so I'm biased. I love it.

    +1

but I'd add the 2008 R6 is an amazing trackbike and has an edge over the gixxxxa right now

i've "heard" the new r6's power band is much better on the track and frustrating on the street. all the powers up high. seems there all coming more track ready every year.

    Re: Buying a new bike

Yea, Im starting to think what my next bike should be. I have sat on everything, And have crossed out a few. I don't think I will be going with a liter bike this time around, But I think I may look into a gsxr 750, Mike has kind of sold me on them...

+1 you cannot kill them. they also make some nice scooters if you are looking for something with a little more power (couldn't resist)

    funny

chassis performance/ handling has been greatly improved over 06-07 - AMA SS is gettting dominated by the R6, CBR 2nd and then your gixxas/kawis

while the yellow and black paint scheme should have resulted in someone getting shot

    If you can wait...

I think you'll get a better deal on an 07/08 during the winter.

Dealers will want to move year old stock out for 09s in the spring.

    Re: Buying a new bike

I had an 03 R6 and absolutely loved it...Recently got an 08 Daytona 675 SE and love it even more. The triple motor is unreal...I prefer the suspension on my R6 though.
