Just call me the sand man...

Well SRNE my season may have come to an abrubt end last Sunday. Going around a corner in Salem Ma at moderate speed and what do I see...SAND . I knew I ws going down and attempted to straighten up a bit before the inevitable. Needless to say my bike is noseless. Frame sliders saved the side fairings.

So now I am greeted with a challenge, Change the 954 to a streetfighter or pay the 800+ for new upper, stays, and bank angle sensor.

Anyone have any experience with this conversion? Any feedback will be appreciated.

Any idea where to start. The guages can be salvaged so I am cool on that end.
Where should I start with the headlight?

    Well, that sucks.
I'm sure I speak for everyone here @ NESR when I say "glad you are ok!"
There's plenty of riding time left this season!
Even if you just duct, (er, 954, right? Racer tape!) it together, you got time to get 'r done!

Chris makes a good point. He does speak for me when he says glad you're ok.

Tape that biotch back together to get through the rest of the season, check ebay and worry about it in the wintertime

    Thanks crew,
I am thinking about getting a cheetah street upper. Anyone have any experience with their products? I am going to pick up the fairing stays this weekend, grab a headlight and streetfighter it is.

    Sandy

    Glad your okay.

I just dodged fist sized rocks in the breakdown lane at the 28 Bourne Rotary when trying to pull over and talk to a fellow rider.

Stuff in the road makes me paranoid.

Just what I saw yeaterday going to the cape.

Gable end vent in the fast lane on Rt 1 S in Danvers.
    Pillow on 93S
small run overable wood in the slow / BDL on 95 around Peabody.

Fog which was so thick you had to wipe the visor every minute in Woods Hole..

    BE careful out there....................

Going down to Vanson's open house on Saturday, was on 93 South of the city, when some yahoo's computer desk/hutch whateveryoucallit jumped out of the back of his truck and slid across 4 lanes of highway.
