There is an immense difference between the way New Englanders - who are minimally impacted - see this issue compared to Mexican border states like AZ, CA, TX, etc.
What is lost in the “discussion” about “illegals” is first, that people who follow the rules for immigration to the US are getting lost in the shuffle. Secondly, the issue has been kicked down the road by both parties so many times that we now have adult children of illegal immigrants who have been held hostage to the process.
Gerrymandering was invented in Massachusetts and perfected over the last two hundred years so that Congress no longer has to negotiate anything to get re-elected. The broad pragmatic middle has been marginalized.
The incident is still of great concern for road motorcyclists, despite the unwholesome nature of both participants.
