A render, that's it? Some rando does a doodle and that is enough to get an article? I love the idea, but I've yet to see any signs that Honda wants to do anything other than mild small displacement machines at the moment sadly. They've had tons of opportunities to make something competitive in the space and have just passed.

I'm not convinced Kawi "should be worried" even if more bikes like these get built.
Sometimes being all alone in a market segment turns it into a niche that few are willing to embrace.

The original 250r 4 cylinder wasn't that great. It was a learner bike. It just revved really high. I barely fit on it, very close in size to my nsr but with 75lbs extra weight and less power. If they sold here it would only be a novelty.

How many confirmed motorcycle designs to his name? He's got a masters in design, done 3d work for archeology research, and assistant lecturing... He does good work but his stab at what it could look like has about as much insider knowledge as my napkin doodle of a revival of the Buell XBRR does. It's someone posting renders as advertising hoping to land a design job out of school, not a legit leak.
