    Martini Racing duc 1098

A few pics from the most recent Robb report covering a 1098 done up in Martini Racing colors......pretty cool tribute. In the magazine article they go into depth about pulling out lots of the stops in building the bike up with "off the shelf" Ducati Corse parts. I picked up the mag, pretty good article, gorgeous look for the 1098 and a nice tie in if you like hearing a little bit about the old le mans and rally race car teams of the late 60's and early 70's

    Martini Racing Ducati 1098S!

Only link I could find, the Robb page doesn't have it up yet....

I was the first one to ride that bike after the rebuild. Then Jeff Wood ripped the shit out of it at Laguna. Said it was one of the dopest bikes he'd ridden.

Did it spin up as fast as it sounds like should? With the ti con rods, rebalanced crank and quick turn throttle, it sounds like way to much fun.
I don't have the article in front of me, was anything done to the flywheel also?

That's the same bike with stock bodywork put back on it. Read that for a track test.

Jeff Wood taking the Martini bike thru the Corkscrew, parked on pit road, and out front of our Dealer Meeting. I may or may not be on one of those Wanted posters...
