    Re: New Bell Star helmet

I'm riding with one Sunday - Tuesday. Let you know what I think. Roland (did paint design on it and rode for them back in the day) has been talking it up bigtime. He loves it.

Looks pretty legit thou. Bell makes badass MX helmets, just were out of the high-end roadrace game for a bit.

Yeah I'd like to see Bell make a m/c comeback. I know they make great road lids.

I'll also need a new race lid in a year or two... all my lids were made in '04. Comin up on the "expiration" date.

    Re: New Bell Star helmet

Theres a good article in the new RoadRacing World about their story and stuff. Apparently a lot of lawsuits from the race segment scared investors when they were hoping to go public, so they pulled mosto f the funding and stuff from motorcycle helmets, now are getting back into it. Interesting read if you have the mag.

    Re: New Bell Star helmet

I got a chance to see this helmet out in CA, and I was definitely impressed with it. Weight is on par with the high end brands, ventilation seemed good, and they were fairly comfortable(to me).

    Re: New Bell Star helmet

I am seeing it priced at 5-600 bucks!!

I'll stick with my AGV or even an Arai.
