    Chatterbox Speaker help

So I have had and used my Chatterbox for many years, but never found a better idea for mounting or replacing my headsets.

MY only issue is they aggrivate the hell out of my ears as they rub. So either I have to buy a different style helmet with larger pocket area's around my ears, or is there some way to cut away some of the helmet to recess the speakers more. Not really sure I want to mess with the integrity of the helmet.

I have never found thinner speakers for chatterbox, but that doesn't mean nothing exists..

Cut the black padding / material pouch the speakers sit it down to just the speaker guts. Then velcro those in.

Or get the adapter cable and use ear buds.

Ear buds tend to back out no matter what style/size I get. Plus I still want to use the mic, so now what?

I will take the backing off one of the speakers tonight and see if I can use velcro strips and get the assembly to stay in the helmet with the backing removed and still hole the speaker in the outter casing. May have to glue the edge of the speaker housing to the outer cover. This cill cut the width down a little.

arai Corsair? Pretty big pockets, but you could remove some foam. Worst case cheek pads are replacable.
