    Chicken strips?

I would class myself as an average rider with average ability. On my r6 I had no chicken strips what so ever..For some reason I cant get the chicken strips off the front tire of my Motard..In fact, the little tire "hairs" are still there.. The rear tire lost the strips after my first ride.. do any of you motard owners notice if your front tire has chix-strips on it..? is it harder to lose them on a motard? its not like I go riding around looking to eat through tires..I just find it a little odd, my front tire still looks new

    Chicken strips?

    Pussy..

J/K The tire profile on the motard could have a taller profile making getting to that edge a hell of a lot more difficult. You night hit your foot pegs before you get to the edge of your tire.

What profile tires are you running??

    Chicken strips?

    Is the rear a 160 or 170 - 60R17 profile?

If your running something along those lines you should eventually get that bitch over enough to remove the pussy strips.
Take it down to Deals gap. You will have those gone the first run! Other option is a track day to learn how far you can get over on the Tard.

Otherwise it's Just a matter of getting used to a new style riding and a new bike..

It doesn't have anything to do with your tire profile....

I would bet you are using alot more body positioning and or counter steering to turn your motard requiring less lean, where as you are sitting still on the R6 and relying entirely on lean angle to get around the bends.

    Chicken strips?

Very few people get the chicken strips off the front tire, even on the track. I've felt the footpeg touch down in the bowl at NHIS on my motard and I still had chicken strips on the front

If you're worried about them being there, you could always lower the air pressure to like 5psi and take it for a spin around the block

    Chicken strips?

Sometimes... they just never go away... depends on the profile etc.

I had a set of tires on my CBR600 that always had them...

I think a crash was the only way to remove them.

    Chicken strips?

I've got 1500 miles on my MOHTAHD and I still have chicken strips on the front tire, no strips on the back. It seems to me that if you were to ride the front tire that far on the edge, you're probably gonna lose the front from a tuck and crash.
