Do you know of a good website where I could get a leather jacket for my daughter, at a fairly good price? Or maybe even a textile jacket...I want to find her a jacket for riding, not a "normal jacket". I'm looking for a jacket with ventilation, as obviously I would be taking her suring summer time, but not for long rides, just around he neighborhood. I still want her to be dressed properly tho.

Not sure about kids leathers... you may have a better chance looking at kids moto cross stuff.

Can't help you but I applaud your efforts...
Your daughter deserves some good gear. I got hurt several times as a little kid when I got thrown on the back of relatives motorcycles for a spin around town. (Not to mention all my bicycle crashes)
Ventilation may not be a big factor, remember kids are smaller & get colder much easier than adults.
No, the x-small are still too big for a girl her age. I've been looking on the inernet all over, can't find much of anything, and I won't have her wear one of those ugly black leather jacket full of zippers. I ride a sportbike, not a Harley! Motocross don't seem to make leather jackets...it seems to be leather pants, but the kids doing the sport are wearing shirts most of the time it seem...

Just get the black leather "biker jacket" if they are available. Who cares about fashion and black leather looks fine on any type of bike.
well... like Ben, i think you're doin the right thing....
However, i'm all for starting kids out young and i wish to God i got my first bike before the ripe old age of 25, BUT, if you're trying this hard & can't find anything that's suitable, maybe that's a sign it's too early
none the less, i'll keep an eye out for ya

If you dont find anything suitable, you might check a Harley Davidson store - I'm sure they make something in children's sizes.

How old is she? My daughter is probably ready to get an adult's jacket (she's 15) and we have a nice Nylon Cordura riding jacket I ordered from Britain. It has armor and is waterproof.
My sister and her husband found a good jacket for my nephew at Wilsons leather. Not a true riding jacket, but it is leather and looks like it would hold up better than denim. Good Luck...

You suck at life. Why don't you quit?
My dad told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up. So I became an Asshole.
Are you offering it to me? LOL Pictures? How much? LOLShe is 9 yrs old, and she dress size 10-12 in normal clothes. But for a jacket, even if it is a little bit bigger, it might also do? (not too big tho, I know it has to fit kinda of snug to be safe..right?)
