    Helmet visor fogging fixes

It's getting to that time of year again. My morning commute was a tad nippy yesterday with a temp of 34F. A neck gaiter helped, but it impacts the air flow around the base of the helmet so my breath fogged the visor. (First year with a full face helmet.)

Fog-X? Any other options short of using a snorkel?

I use Plexus and it does a great job, IMO.

Nothing's going to help if you're stoppedor going slow....that's when I usually take deeper but slower breaths and exhale downward thru my mouth. Basically I minimize my nose breathing as much as possible.

Check this out ofr a gaiter (balaclava). This is what I use in below 50 degree weather and have used it down to 25 degrees and it's toasty.

    Sugoi MidZero Balaclava

Its shell is lycra, so it's thin and wicks away moisture and its inner is a thin fleece, so it's warm, REALLY warm.

I also use a Respro Foggies and it works great directing breath away from the faceshield.

Turn your helmet clockwise 180 degrees. Its your breath that causes the fogging and you don't breath out of the back of your head.

Or you could try some of those other suggestions....

I think I'm going to spring for a Scorpion helmet and heated shield from sportbike track gear in a few weeks.

I've got a Nolan N-102 that came with an insert "fog shield." Tried it for the first time today -- it works wicked decently.

I have one of those anti-fog liner things you stick to the inside of your visor, got it at Motomart, dont know what they're called. Never had a fogging problem for 3 years under I pulled the old one off and hadnt put the new one on. Its fogging like a bitch now, so I assume that means they worked well.
