    Clip-Ons

Hey Seacoast recommended I get some woodcraft clip ons. I guess they will raise up the bars 1". I would like higher bars but is one inch noticeable? Also anyone know the cheapest place I could pick these up?

me. What bike are they for?
    1098 I have in stock.

They are talking about a riser clip-on from Woodcraft. Did they say a 1" rise 1.5" rise or 2" rise?

Woodcraft clipons for a 600RR raising up? They'll make the angle steeper and more agressive. Less comfortable for street riding.

Did you go in there asking them what you can spend money on?

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

He said one inch was max and he didn't say riser just clip on.

I just would like it a little more comfortable on long rides.

I've heard Heli Bars are also a good option:

    http://www.helibars.com/proddetail.php?prod=TS7706

    Looks like a 1" Rise, 3/4" Back, 1/2" Wider

The stock bar is on top. The TracStar™ on the bottom mounts it’s tube closer to the fork tubes center line.

1" is max for stock street bodywork probably.

Sorry. We hate our website too. Unfortunately it cost us our whole marketing budget to do it, so it's a little ways off to have a new one.

So the Woodcraft riser clip-ons are a newer product and we don't have them loaded yet anyways. Just the standard race ones. If you told me the year of your 600RR I could help you out a little better. ;-)

    Oh well that's easy then.
1" is about all you can do on street bodywork and I have a set here in the shop.
Pm. me with the best price you can find and I'll meet it or beet it. List is $180.
You could even come pick them up and then go to pose night. We're open 'til 8pm. tonight.

OOps Sorry Patricia I didn't realize you were a site sponsor too. Oh wait... You're NOT! (You know I'm just teasing back)

For the record, I only have good things to say about your dealership and I even send people there including my best friend who bought an Aprilia from you guys and spent another $1,000+ in parts and accessories he could have gotten from me. My sponsored riders and other customers come to you too. I even go there on occasion.

I was only answering a question that was asked. considering we sell allot of Woodcraft and stock allot of it too. Not to mention your profile says nothing about you being any part of Seacoast or a Woodcraft dealer.

No worries - I thought the smilie meant that I was kidding and just teasing you. Sorry if I came across differently - it certainly wasn't my intent. Friends again?

Ask Frankenstein (Frankenstain currently), or Stoneman to change it to something else. A lot of other members have in the past.
