    clip on positioning

so i rode my bike again this morning and noticed that when i go to make a sharp right turn, my wrist gets pushed up against the tank and its really difficult for smooth throttle input. basically i can twist my wrist becuase its up against the tank. Question is, can i swing the clip on a bit more forward or will this interfere with the steering? the left side seems fine since i dont have to twist anything.

You can put them anywhere You want as long as its comfortable for you. and you dont hit the tank

You can if you can. I like my bars swept back, so my thumbs always pinched at full steering lock. It was only a hinderance while teaching MSF. otherwise I never needed to ride at full lock. Do what feels good.

    Re: clip on positioning

quick note: i just adjusted them. worked out great. but the first position i put them on they felt perfect. but when i went to full left turn the brake lever hit the fairing. good thing i noticed it before taking it for a ride. just something to look out for. check your lever clearances as well as kinked lines or anything of that nature.

after re adjusting it, try tilting the brake lever down a bit - its more of a natural position anyhow
