I have read and and heard others talking about how the Rocket III can wheely with ease. In an article last year I read I believe it was Motorcyclist, it had a picture of someone riding out a wheely about a foot and a half off the ground. But Getting it up that high??? I wouldn't want to do it and have all that weight blow out the front shocks the first time though!

is that the ridiculously expensive Honda cruiser that came out a couple of years ago? You'd have to be insane to want to wheelie that high on a bike that big/heavy.

Looked like a Valkyrie to me from that angle???

The rocket 3 actually has an electronic torque limiter in 1st gear to make it harder to wheelie. (Believe it retards timing?)

    Easily defeated I imagine.

Don't see what the big deal is. I've seen a gold wing picture 2-up that was almost as high up as this one.

    It's a Triumph Rocket III.

They apparently wheelie readily although it must take tremendous skill to do this with one.

    That bike is sweet.

By this time things were happening far to fast to be paying any attention to the small round gauges, but I have to guess I was knocking on the door of 140 mph when just seconds earlier I had been traveling around 65 mph. I can imagine new Rocket owners having a lot of fun with sportbikes out on the highway. Johnny Squid is going to be tap dancing on the gear lever while watching a very fat rear tire evaporate away in the distance if he tries to go up against this thing.
