    Clutch hub holding tool

    Anyone know where I could pick one up this weekend? I would prefer to buy one over borrow. Thanks.

    Interesting. Excuse my clueless-ness but why not just torque everything with the old plates in there then?

    I think the clutch will slip unless you bolt the plates together.

    I may be using the wrong terms here but the clutch hub spins independent of the basket. When you try to tighten it the whole thing free spins and you get no joy. The holder holds the basket from spinning without damaging it.

    I have always had good luck with an impact gun - it tightens despite a bit of movement.
