    Continental Road Attack tires

Need some new rim protectors soon. Anyone try the new Road Attacks? Supoposed to give great grip and long life. Going through BT014s kinda quickly lately and want a tire that'll last a bit. They are $223 a set for my 9R

I am told they are very good. A few friends have them on bikes comparable to yours. Too early to report on tread life yet, mind you.

    Continental Road Attack tires

From what I hear they are a good sport tire. Not on the level of 100% sport rubber but at least as good as, say, an 020.

Like anything, it depends how hard you want to push, but I am sure they are up for track use.

I was never all that impressed with 020s. They seem to wear as quickly as 010s and stick less. 014s wear REEEAAAALLLLY quicky but stick quite nicely. I don't care much for the way they deal with uneven pavement though. Seem as squirrelly as D207s. I really like Pilot Roads but they are rather expensive. These Attacks are really cheap.

I liked 014s as well but they didn't last long.

I am putting Pilot Roads on my Tiger shortly, and Powers on my Daytona.

I'd have tried RoadAttacks on the Tiger but the fitments aren't available just yet.

    Continental Road Attack tires

The 19" front to fit the Tiger is still being tested in Germany. Conti has gone through several revisions of the casing - it was supposed to be released a few months ago. We will see it in the fall. This is per Greg Reich at Conti as of Friday. He's a very cool dude.

The Road Attack can be thought of as a Pilot Road in terms of capability but with a better grip level. They should wear about the same.

Also, the new Street Attack is coming this fall. This will be Conti's version of the Pilot Power in terms of overall mission. Everything is pointing towards that being another incredible tire.

Conti has come a long way and they are working very hard to earn your business.
