After going on that long ass ride to the Outback in Vermont last year, I definately want/need a comfortable seat. So does anyone know where I can find a corbin seat for a 01 CBR929? Preferably used. I'll see what comes up here before I spend the $230.00 for a new one....
Thanks,

Do a search on google for for other 929 forums and look in there classifieds plus post up a WTB ad.
Set up an automatic search on ebay and wait till a used one pops up. I got mine for about $140 on my old 6R and then sold it for about the same money. They are worth the money though if you have to break down and get a new one.

damn...I dunno how anyone buys a honda w/o replacing the seat ASAP. Those things are brutal.

If I get another fuckin' bike stolen...
Depends on which Honda.. I have a Corbin for my VFR and it's been sitting in the garage forever. It's not a big enough overall improvement to be worth it for me.
I got one from the SV forum that was slightly used.
Not impressed, it is lower but wider so it cuts into the inside of my thighs at a stop. I got long legs so I really don't need lower.
Harder on the knees as it is lower and the knees are bent a bit more. It is easier on the butt but harder on the knees.(I got arthritis ... I'm gettin' old, cold and full of mold!)
I will try it again for a few trips this year and if I don't like it is going up for sale.

If you don't like it, I'll be willing to trade my stocker + $$ for your corbin.
that way you can re-foam the stock seat with high quality stuff?

I would say you got a deal but I notice from your sig that you have an '02.
I have an '05 second gen.
From what I know with my limited research there are 3 seat types
1st gen = 99 -02
2003 has unique subframe but is first year of 2nd gen.
2nd gen = '04 - 06
If you still want it, I can sell it but make sure that it fits first.
I don't think it will.
However I will give anyone on this board first dibs.
