After another shitty vet appointment, my dog tested positive for Lyme. It will be a miracle if I have the funds to make the first weekend as all this extra pet money is coming straight out of my race budget. Gonna try my best, still trying to sell that kidney.

Just noticed this whilst reading thru the rulebook... is NHMS no longer renting transponders?!

7.2 All riders are required to have their own MyLaps
(formerly AMB) Tranx260 compatible transponder(s),
either self-powered, or hard-wired to the machine
electrical system

To the best of my knowledge, they will loan/rent(not sure if they charge) you a transponder for your first ~3 race weekends. After that, you are expected to have your own.

That change has been in place for a couple years now? My impression is they're just no longer guaranteeing they'll have rentals available save for the rookies, so if you can, shop for a used transponder sooner rather than later.

It really just comes down to being responsible and sticking to a budget I had set out for myself. Looking at it now, I probably will just run 1 or 2 races instead of the 4 and take advantage of the practices to get my bike sorted. If the weather sucks skipping the entire weekend is pretty likely.

Regardless of my racing status, I sure as hell will be there taking part in all the shenanigans and helping out!

Lily had lyme, was a completely different dog after getting treated for it, maybe thats why she was acting weird in the car.

34 Days and my bike will be done and ready for pick up friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My new graphics will be here Wed, I will put them on the new set of plastics I got for it and switch them out when I bring the bike home Friday. Next is to get the rain bike ready but there wont be to much to do with that project. Just some chassis work and a few odds and ends.

upper and lower fairings are for the wrong years. not sure if that's all armour bodies makes now but looks like I'll be placing a call on monday and hopefully taking a drive to sort the issue
