What's the deal with penguin and new racers this year?

Took another shot at fitting the GSXR1K bodywork to my SV. So far the score is bodywork 2, me 0.

I did manage to get the front end bolted on, and the wiring tucked away a bit, so it's almost ready to roll again. Change fluids and mount up fresh tires and I'm theoretically ready to roll, albeit naked.

One would think...but it's so clearly not made for an SV, it's requiring a lot of trimming just to fit. I've got a GSXR fairing stay I'll be trying out this week to see if that helps with clearance.
