Suffice to say I enjoy it quite a bit as there is much less bullshit to deal with.
Questions get answered. E-mails are replied to. Money gets sent, license arrives in a couple weeks. One transponder used for every race series. No "special race series with special rules". And the best part is--> No unsafe helmet modifications!

Rear end reassembled... putting the muffler back on was a royal PITA. Tomorrow the front end goes back on, at which point it's ready to roll out of the basement for safety wiring, final inspection, fuel system test and a lil vrrrroom vrrRRROOOM. Then I just get to wait for my Cool-Aide to arrive so I can flush the cooling system.
bike is home. I plan to have everything done on thursday with the exception of numbers and stickers. hopefully those will be here early next week even though I asked my buddy for them in February and reminded him a couple weeks ago.
anyone can print them up off a computer and have it laminated.
not that the CCS one is hard to make, the machine pops it out in like 2 seconds.

I decided that tonight was a good time to put the bike together. Looks like the cat hid a key nut.. I'll pick one up in town. Should wrap it up tomorrow night and be ready to GO!!! Emma has the camper mostly packed already!! I think she is more excited than I am to get back to the track![]()

Finally finished the mechanicals with a clutch plate replacement and an oil/filter change. Just mounting the tank and bodywork & stickering is left. I also still need to safety wiring the front axle/calipers after a wheel swap at the track for practice.
Technically, I could bolt the stock seat on, make some cardboard number plates, and race my SV tomorrow.
Just "sent my bodywork to the painter" today, so I'll hopefully get it back at NJMP this weekend, stick on some decals, and ride it.

Suspension on at both ends, couple minor tweaks on a couple things that bugged me, tank and seat on. All that's left is front fairings/belly pan, fuel leak test plus safety wiring.
8 Days Mutha Fucka's!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forgot about that thing lol ya I will grab it
GSXR: Gotta shake the bike down after a complete frame swap, get the geometry right, put all the sponsor decals on, fiddle with the tuning on the Bazzaz, and do the safety wiring.
SV: poor girl: gotta swap gas tanks, mount up the new wheels after doing some final mods to the new rear carrier, vinyl wrap the main fairing, new windscreen, replace the seat foam and recover, new chain/sprockets, change fluids, flush brakes, replace front pads, rejet the carbs, some minor fairing repair, put the sponsor decals on, new tires mounted...I know I am forgetting some things but thats the bulk of it.
This is what happens when you live 2500 miles away from your race bikes and the track
Oh, and someone remind me to charge my transponder at some point tuesday :-p
At least I have new leathers, new helmet, and new gloves ready to go. Boots are old and trashed so I am avoiding the asphalt attraction that happens with new gear :-p

slipper clutch went in today.
still have to:
flush coolant
flip radiator cap hose/mount around to run the tube to the new overflow bottle. should I run another tube from the bottle down to the belly pan?
put numbers on when they get here and try to cut out some vinyl
slap on tank grips
install lever guards
make a little fairing bracket. or just get a big spacer to put behind it and a long bolt, probably go this way.
