I'm still waiting to see what my number is going to be. I assume I haven't found out yet, because they are closing licensing on 1/31 and I requested 2 numbers that were supposedly still in use, although no point were given to both (39 and 42).

If both are renewed, I should be getting 97.

It's pretty much a full supersport build. New rods, crank and rod bearings, pistons, valve retainers and cotters, gaskets, decked head, replace bent valves from daytona, undercut the tranny, and the builder is breaking it in oh his dyno.

That, my friend, is the million dollar question. I'll probably keep this one stock and try to source a spare motor to build over the season. I'd hate to be racing on an even bigger time bomb without a back up plan. My biggest fear is blowing a motor then rushing a build in the 3 weeks until the next weekend as it will just equate to a rush job, and paying a premium for parts. You had an A and B motard, you know the deal.

Ehh my B motard never really existed, but your point is valid. You are at the point where a built motor would help though. Maybe just put in a piston and cam?
