I expect that Emma is only racing a couple rounds this season. July and September. Depending on if we are riding at the TTD at NYST in August we may or may not race August. The garage spot is a little up in the air...

Just so I am clear or maybe I need to catch up on the rule book, but I thought you were only eligible for a two digit number if you were a past expert champion? not saying that people in this thread are not , just wondering

I can see that, especially with the new auto bump.

I look at group 9 practice (fast experts) as the real experts. leave the two digits to them.

Its not solely based on times. Its juts a guideline. Once you hit that time you can request to be put into 9 and they have the final word. They want to see you at that time on a regular basis.

Right, but the lap times were not that fast at the beginning of last season. I never paid attention to the year before.

*edit may19 2012 MWSBK places 6-17 were :16.0 and slower*

I guess I think that because I go off to a slow start last year and only got down to a :18.1. I didn't feel I fully deserved expert status let alone a 2digit.
