A country ride

Due to some fuel issuses I couldn't get the drz running and leahs klx kept crapping out so I took the vstrom out and leah took the klx to try to burn off the bad fuel. We only managed to get 60 miles in today but still a couple hours on the bikes in the country on the back roads with the sand, ice, and what not.

Oh yeh some slow cows, cats and potholes.





this almost goes with out saying, but if there is a sign up it probably means they have had problems in the past.

must be early in the season, the loop we did today is usually dominated by dogs that lay on the side of or right in the middle of the road. there isn't too much traffic out in this part of the state. Atleast 1/2 the dogs run out at you , but I know where they are now so I slow down way ahead of time then nail it to break their timing just as they jump out .

As for the cats, they lay in the road too, though we have't been attacked by them yet..........

I went out for a quick trip. Got about 45 miles in then the sun started to set. It felt really good to get on the bike again.

got about 75 miles on the ol gs550 today, felt soooo good, got a lot of washing to do on her tomorow tho, but it was definitely worth it. the roads around burlington were clean enough. have to do it now, there is a good chance of snow later this week.

I've been doing a country ride in Ireland for the past week on this thing. Took a bit of getting used too but once I got the hang of it I had a grand ol' time for myself riding all over the place on it

I just finished up 75 miles or so of riding. My God does it feel good to be on two wheels again.

Looks like you had a good time, that sign is hilarious. I have to remember to bring my camera with me when I go out...

How do you like the KLX?

the KLX is my wifes, we picked it up in jan. she has only put 113 miles of dirt roads and pavement so far. Trails are next when the snow melts and some of the mud dries up.
We had a small issue with some bad fuel but am sorting that out right now.

So far she likes it.
