    Parking near Faneuil Hall?

I juts found out that my company is moving to near Faneuil Hall. I currently work in Kendall Sq, so parking is free at the Marriott. Does anyone have any suggestions on a decent place to park a bike in that area from 9-5 that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg?

MGH used to have (what looked like) a pedestrian ramp right at the entrance of one of their parking garages that rolled into a small area for scooter/motorcycle parking. It was free...and it might still be?

Still free, but not as close as City Hall for $50/mo. That's like $2 /day for 1 mile closer,

I'll be in touch once we move, I just looked on a map and 28 State is only a few blocks to where we're moving.
    Is it an underground garage?

Underground, full valet (obviously nobody is going to valet a bike - we would put you on a sidewalk in the garage).

Watchout for pedestrians, taxi cabs, cars, bicyclists, etc. while riding in town. They will pull out in front of you without any warning. It's worse just walking on the sidewalk. I work in town, but prefer riding the T. Oh yeah, don't forget the noise ordinance passed back in May. An aftermarket exhaust will get you a $300 ticket. I don't know when they'll start enforcing this ordinance. I'm not riding my bike in Boston.

Your just full of all kinds of fun thoughts. Have fun on the T with the perverts rubbing their junk on your leg man. For me I'll ride as often as I can and enjoy it.

Ok Ituen I'll lay the challenge. Howuch foes the T cost you between both ways and any commuter parking. If I can match the price on a monthly basis would you drive in?

I'll take any and all the attention I can get. If someone wants to rub my junk, have at it! It'll make the ride in better for me. I'll bring some baby wipes. OK, I'll be serious. I'm just being a realist. It's $3.40 daily roundtrip into town from my house and $5.40 from the GF's house. We park on the street or in our yards at home. If you had a place I could park or buy into with a few other guys (4 bikes a parking space) in the Faneuil Hall area during the warmer months, I'm in.

I can't do the shared space deal because I could never find a group to commit, but the $50 is real. That $2.50 a day at 20 days, and when winter ces if your sick of the train I can get you a decent rate for your cage.

Hopefully more guys here can join in. Mike Qube asked about the spot in the first place. Let's try to get another rider or two and we're golden. My winter ride is a full size Bronco 4x4. It barely fits in some of the underground parking garages in town. I'll drive to the T station on the first day of a snow storm and that's it. I won't need it during the winter.

Haymarket garage used to let me park my bike for free every day. You park with the other bicycles right at the end of the ramp. Here is where it is:

    Shhhhhhh!

JK but it's a bit far for him, I think: 1.4 miles if you mean the spot on Northern Ave.
