Just a quick reminder that its still early in the season and everyone's reaction timing and skill is on the lower scale of our riding capabilities. Road conditions are still poor with sand and frost heaves so be safe and take it easy early this season. I'm only preaching this because I speak from early season crash experience in 1999.

    Well,
They are out there...I had a guy just simply pull right the frig out in front of me yesterday...didn't even look to his right!

I saw him, and made an assumption he was gonna keep going..I was right!.....

I already positoned the bike to the left, and had no probs avoiding him. I did catch him at a stop sign (at least he stopped there), and let him know that I wasn't too pleased...All I got was what I get outta all the other idiots who claim they didn't see you was "Sorry"... I told him he better not talk on the cell phone while driving anymore, because he isn't to talented just to be driving a car....

On another note...Hope you get better dude!

    Get well soon Kham..

I have to agree with the comment about everyone needing to be careful, I definitely felt some rustiness riding around this weekend, yet I was doing some stupid things with the throttle cause it's so nice to finally have some nice weather.

Did the car stop?? Sometimes there is oil or transmission fluid in the middle of the lane, very slippery. Hopefully insurance will cover costs.

I think a lot of riders panic and grab too much front/rear brake. Speaking from experience (or inexperience), I almost crashed my previous bike, CBR1000, slowing for stopped traffic, too much rear brake
    I still counting my blessings.

    Get well soon

Your looking at about six weeks for the breaks to heal. Have broken both collarbones, not fun. So take your pain and relax a bit. Get healed up and out riding.
