Hey Guys,
I have been keeping this quiet because I hadnt had my leave approoved yet but on the 31st I am going to be heading West to Cali on my new KLR. My leave came in this morning and I have the 2nd until the 29th off. I am gonna take a ride from Mass, to PA, from PA to MI, and then from MI to MO. I have places to stay in those 3 states. If anyone knows of some must see sights on the way or good routes let me know. I want to get there on non highway roads and if I have to I can take the highway back if I need to make time. Should be a nice trip. I have some Michilen Anakee tires on the way and got some Givi Bags I found for a good price on ADV, and a sergent seat that should be here next week. I have also been buying little things to make sure I have everything I need. I am going to make a tool tube so I can be prepared for the worse. I am open to any suggestions so lets hear em?
Man that ride from MO to Cali is going to suck! Have fun, be safe and travel light!

Take lots of pics and keep us updated. Also keep tabs on the KLR's oil usage (if any). You'll be getting good data that would be useful for current (and potential) 08 KLR owners.
Man how I wish I could do this. Keep us posted.

That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.
Bring a 12v air compressor and a tire plug kit.(just incase) The air compressors are super light and are the size of a book. Bring rags and a cleaner for the face shield. Maybe pack some Ibuprofen.
