    Looking to get a camera

Any good ones out there that aren't too much $$$? Never owned one but not so willing to drop too much $$$ for some nice camera. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!

It depends on how much you want to spend and what kind of camera you want to get. If you want to have a DSLR then you'll need to spend money on lenses too. If you want to have a more compact but good quality camera, then go with mirrorless one like Nex-5... If you want something cheaper and compact, then something like Canon S90, S100 will work. Other than that, something really cheap (~$50 cheap) like my old Canon Powershot A620 can do the job too.

I wouldn't make a recommendation without knowing the budget and type of use. Are you looking to do stills, video, or both, and the emphasis if both. Some video cameras can take stills OK, but are much better at video. Some still cameras can take OK video, but until you get into a higher-end DSLR the video is "YouTube" quality.

Re: Looking to get a camera

Sorry guys, I left out important info. I am looking for a video cam to record when I ride for fun. Anything below $150. Don't want to spend too much because I am not sure if I will get much use out of it.
