Anyway, back on topic.

I was pulled over a few years ago. I was doing 80 in a 55 (as was every other vehicle around me). And I was the one who got popped. He wrote the ticket for 70, which was nice of him, but he wrote "actual 80" on the top of his copy, which when I went to fight it, the prosecutor had. The prosecutor basically said "I have no sympathy for you. I'll reduce it to $100."

I took the deal, but that shit is still fucking my insurance rates.

Back in the day in NY I would tell the LEO I would AGREE to 14 over and go to court for more as I did not agree with his assesment

15 over was where Insurance companies could count it as an incident for you insurance rates.

Is that true here and Connecticut I know in CT 20 over plus supposedly is a mandatory suspension

In either case the LEO's are doing BOTH of you a favor
