You know it's a great day when your fuel light comes on and you realize that you have no mental recollection of the past hour's ride...just a feeling that you were somewhere else and absolutly there at the same time.

Yes a spectacular ride in this morning. It took me an hour for what normally takes 15 minutes.. I think I got sidetracked.

The other night I went for a little night ride w/ Aaron, Steph and Sean (slammp).

Leading the other three through the pitch blackness of the night on some of the narrowest, twistiest roads in my own "back yard"... Challenging & pure. NOTHING in the world even existed besides the road, myself, my bike & the three others behind me.

Loved every second of it.

Sounds like someone needs to take the step up to a gixxer 1000

If you don't regear it, you'll hardly ever use 4th 5th and 6th. If you do regear it, you'll hardly ever use 5th and 6th....well highways only but you'll never try to hit 7th. I miss my old 750, but the 1k was a nice replacement

I haven't gone for 7th in a long time. I did rev the carbon out of my exhaust twice already this season though. Some people call it missing 2nd, but I did it on purpose ... yeah .. on purpose that's why I did it.
