It was a shit show. More big wheel baggers than I ever needed to see in my life. No masks anywhere (except on some bartenders who were otherwise only wearing pasties and thongs) and all the bars were packed, so glad I have antibodies. I only saw like 6 or 7 bikes I thought were worth looking at out of 10's of thousands. We did a few days of riding around Florida and the riding was terrible. The "Loop" around Daytona was neat though. Almost everyone was wearing Trump and/or confederate flag gear, denying covid and thought Trump was still president. Fantastic people watching, and you can drink on the street.
hmm...maybe I can buy a drz400 and leave it at the family's house
Just watching shitty YouTube videos from this year's bike week.
First off... no joke. What's with all the big wheel baggers? Second, I think only saw 5 people with masks on. Third, it looked kind of sad and depressing, but I've never been, so maybe that's the norm. Finally, thought the scantily dressed women would have been hotter for some reason. They all looked a little worn out.
On a side note, watched the last 7 laps of the 200. Great move by Paasche. Saw him at ovrp last year on a fs450, ridiculous what that kid was doing. Backing it in is an understatement. Destroyed a brand new tire in 10 minutes. Couldn't work on his bike to save his life, though. Lol
Great race. Well, great finish.
