Good deal on leathers

Just got an email from Bikebandit... Alpinestars Octane leathers on sale for $379. Just passing it along.

And they're Euro sizes which means that's a US 42.

I thought I saw US52 on there, but not in black/black like I'd want. Not that US52 is big enough for my lanky self.

So, are these suits considered good enough , I don't really know that much about leathers..

Do they have all the necessary armor protection for track days ..?

Why are they the least expensive of the line of leathers.?
$379 seems a little to good to be true ..

I have the same suit. It's a good suit from a reputable manufacturer. It just doesn't have a lot of the frills as a high end race suit. $379 is about right since the suit is last years and has been replaced with different $500 suit in the A* lineup. It's PERFECT for track days.
