Dealership Woes: Allpower in Granby MA

    Things they did:
    -Scratched brand new fairings
    -Way way way overfilled oil
    -Improperly adjusted drivechain (2 3/16" left, 2 5/8" right)

    Things they did not do:
    -Replace/fix fairings
    -Clean chain
    -Lube chain

i am extremely with them. i was under them impression that the absurd amount of money you pay dealers was to make sure that your bike came away from them being in better condition (or at least the same) than when you brought it in to them...

i'll let you guys make up your own minds

Maybe they're used to working on those green tractors?

I've bought some parts from them before but never had any service done. Might still get my bro's bike's tires done there but only because I could care less if they scratch up the fairings and the chain adjustment I can fix by myself.

Job or not, you're gonna run into issues in the service department. I recently had to buy a new gas tank for an M109R (by the way... HOLY SHIT those big ass tanks are expensive) because one of my techs fumbled a ratchet into it. The customer was informed and the tank was ordered and replaced before the original repair was even completed on the bike. The customer had no extra down time due to our mistake.

The point is, accidents do happen. The difference is how the dealer handles the situation when and issue arises. It looks like this particular dealer failed...

Hmmm in that case what would you charge to change tires on a '97 Katana with supplied tires?

You're gonna drive from Amherst to Central Ct, at $4.50 a gallon, to have tires changed? Serioulsy?

Dismount/mount/balance would be $30 each wheel.

Labor to remove and reinstall both wheels on bike would be $75.00
