Tried searching for the topic but couldn't find anything specific.
Anyone knows of a company that offers air ambulance plans or air lift plans? My medical only covers for ambulance not Air lift or air ambulance.
Thanks in advance
for an additional $30/yr on my annual SPOT fees, I get $100k in rescue insurance

Following. Used to have this when I lived out west but let it lapse. For ~$20/year it's a no-brainer.
Are you within the continental United States or international?
Central mass, Lancaster/Sherley/Lunenburg area.
Umass is a level 1 trauma center, with those towns being so close, not sure why you’d need to spend the money on that sort of coverage. International travel or someplace much more remote, I get it.
It’s generally not up to you if you’re going for a helicopter ride, and when you do, they’re around $40k and not covered by insurance. At like $20-50 a year it’s wise.
Didn’t know it was that cheap and/or covered for certain companies or just medical flights in general. At the distance the original poster mentioned, it’s not uncommon for the crew to be brought out via ground ambulance to the scene, or intercept with another transporting ground ambulance. I also figured it cost a lot more for the insurance.
