Deals Gap Review

Well, I got back from my trip to the Gap and it was awesome. The weather was perfect and I met up with some great people and had an awesome time getting lost. My biggest day was 310 miles and I hit 4 states. Of course I was lost and 2 of those states wasn't planned but what a time. If anyone has never been there is reluctant to drive the 950 miles to get there it is more than worth it.

I have been down the past 4 years, rode 3 times and trucked once, it was worth it even the year I trucked down just for a long weekend.

next year my plan is to truck or trailer down cause I plan on bringing 2 bikes hopefully a V-Strom and my SV fitted with supermotard tires

btw, my best time thru the gap is around 14 minutes in the rain, 2 years ago on the old pavement

Going the second week of May, what ever those dates are haven't looked at the calender, but I always have the reservations reserved, because I know I'll be there!

Cool your going, You can be accomidated as far as the trailor, I got ya next year, you'll just have to get the bike down to my place. I do not have all my pics up, but I do have an album at home. Maybe if we get to ride this weekend, I'll try to squeeze it into my talk bag.

I am definitly in for next May if you have room Mike. I also have a trailer that we could use if needed. Let me know when we need to have money in, I want to secure a spot for this.
