Needs a chimney, pot-belly stove inside and an old coon dog sleeping on the porch.

Worth it to me? Probably not. But I occasionally watch these types of things, and this seems cheap.

    Re: Tiny house toy hauler

I guess calling it a 'toy hauler' makes it sound way more legit than 'homemade RV I built in my garage'. I'm not a trashman, I'm a waste acquisition officer.

Built in 2017, goes all over Maine with it, claims it's "worth way more than I am asking I have a lot into it", but wants to sell already? Divorce sale?

It's cool, but not $25k cool. I dunno RV prices that well, but maybe 10-12k ballbark?

As in buy what some dude up Maine built? Not a chance, particularly not for $25k. Honestly for something like this I prefer the park a small camper on a gooseneck approach:

    That's pretty cool.

For the record, I am not interested in buying it, just marveling at the.. um... ingenuity

I'm no expert in these things but it does look fairly well built. He seems to have a penchant for pine though...

I guess its cool in a back woods sort of way.. if you where going to park it some place for awhile it would work but to tow that thing around? Not so sure I up for that. King bed is nice. 25K for a home built unit? I think you could do better!

    It's not worth $25k. It's worth $25k plus a 3/4 ton truck.

I'd rather live in a tiny house than, say, commit seppuku.

It’s neat, certainly nearer than the trailer on the trailer, but I doubt I could do 25 large for it.
Even if I was in the market for something like that, I’d be leery of the thing coming unraveled on the road.

I think that's really cool. I think it will sell, too. Tiny house craze is big right now. Bet you could AirBnB that for $250 a night.

I'd worry about what all the road vibrations and frame flex would do to a wood structure over time.

    Re: Tiny house toy hauler

I met a couple that is building a "tiny house on wheels" . They are almost done, they have about $12k into the project, the most unique feature they have is a trifold window in the dining section, and a fold down deck, the window becomes a bar, accessible from both outside and inside.

Sure, if you parked it in Boston Common.

Actually...AirBnB market in Boston is trash. Market is massively saturated by every guy and gal renting out their apartments they don't own on weekends. Austin/Nashville type areas seem to be the hot spots.

    Re: Tiny house toy hauler

I agree it could work for AirBnB use.. if PARKED in the right spot and never/rarely moved. I cannot believe roofing like that holds up to 80 MPH Interstate use. And New England potholes. And.. and..

Fam and I are headed west in a few weeks. Doing AirBnB.. One of the spots we're staying is a legit tiny house in someone's yard. Another is a park model camper in a permanent camp ground.

That makes sense. As a toy hauler camper? Hell no.
