    Could save alot of gas $$ with one of these....... diesel bike 100 mpg sounds good for the commuters.....

    I know it was built for the military, and now its available to consumers...It dont have great power #'s but you can still ride a bike on a nice hot day ,save yourself a few bucks in gas and not rack up the milage on your other bike commuting to work... .02

    There is one mentioned in MCN this month but the price is expected to be $19k. Not exactly a good beater/commuter bike at that cost.

    I'm not sure which one it is.. I think it's from Hayes, but it's not the one based on the KLR, it's a newer model not on the website yet?

    I think that if the diesel thing catches on with the public, we would see the price of the bikes drop alot.. I think its good for our sport to see any new innovations.. The torque figures some of the tested diesels are putting out is phenominal... 120hp /w 250 foot pounds...
