How to clean leather riding gloves?

Got to cleaning my mesh jacket and helmet liner this weekend, but didn't do the gloves. They probably smell like a bag of assholes by now (I don't want to smell to find out) and should definitely be cleaned as well.. just wondering how you guys clean your gloves? I don't own anything else that's leather so I'm new to the whole cow hide thing. I'm sure getting some leather conditioner worked into the gloves would be a good idea too. Tips? Advice?

for cleaning liners, Febreze makes an antimicrobial spray that you could use. I haven't tried it yet, but I would imagine that it would work pretty well.

As far as cleaning gloves, I've never cleaned the insides of my gloves. I just make sure to air them out when I take them off. From time to time I will clean the backs of the gloves with NikWax leather cleaner and then hit them with the NikWax leather conditioner.

How to clean leather riding gloves?

I buy my NikWax at Moto Market in Acton MA

I use the last two products on this page

Keep in mind though, I've never purchased from this online reseller, so I cannot say whether or not they are a good source.

How to clean leather riding gloves?

i've always washed my textile jacket in the washing machine using the nikwax wash for gore-tex fabrics, then just hang it out to dry.

i've never washed my gloves but i do have riding breeches with a full leather seat for horseback riding that i wash in the washing machine using this stuff

what's really important is how you dry the leather after washing. NEVER dry leather using heat or in direct sunlight or it will dry out and look and feel like crap.
