DRZ/KLX110 piston kit

So I just got an 03 drz110 that started smoking when I did an oil change (for some reason)

I am wanting to just replace the piston and cylinder but can anyone who has done this tell me a good piston kit for this bike? Is there a good aftermarket one or do I go with the kawasaki parts?

Any info on this would be helpful.

If you're keeping it otherwise stock, just put a Kawi OEM piston and ring kit in. Really, likely just need a ring kit but don't bother ordering anything until after you've got the top end off and can inspect the condition of the cylinder, piston, rings, valve guide seals, etc. No point throwing parts at it if they're not needed or won't actually solve the problem.
