I would get on of the testastrettas if I were ever going to get a monster.

it's more than the 620 that it's replacing. Gotta remember, the 696 is gonna end up being somewhat of the "flag ship entry level" monster.... entry level. 80hp is about as much as you really want in a beginner bike. That's more than an SV650.

Yeah, good point. I guess what I meant is that it's too bad the sickest paint/color combo is only on the entry level bike, and not the larger displacement ones.

i thought it was letting us live vicariously through you

and gino's hawk is neither 50hp nor 75hp... it's somewhere in the mid, maybe upper, 60s... this is by dr gino's design. he didn't have it jetted for the big motor this season. that's his little bump for next season. sneaky bastard isn't he

...i know this b/c I damn near ran into the back of him on the back straight when i cranked the throttle on my 700... either he's got mid 60s or i'm puttin down 80 (i'd much rather it was the latter, but it's not )

and if i haven't said it yet today thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for the motor mitchell OMG
