Ive been in love with this bike since it came out but haven't heard or read of any rider testimonies? anyone own one, know a guy who owns one or atleast test driven one? what are they like???
The exhaust note is like 3 cylinders of sexual goodness.
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.
There is a guy on here with one. I think his screen-name is Hoss? Also call up Second Wind BMW/Triumph http://www.secondwindbmw.com/ I'm pretty sure they will schedule a test ride for you. I have taken one on a test ride at a demo day there. I liked it a lot but the underseat exhaust really gets hot in the summer. Might be something to think about if that sort of thing bothers you when you are stuck in traffic etc.
I agree with Jeff about the exhaust note. It sounds really good. You'll be downshifting all the time to hear it.
go to t595.net for all the info you could possibly want.
EVERYTHING is a repost

Hoss is actually a pretty big guy, and he was actually fairly comfortable on the bike. I know personally I did a few 400+ mile days with him. I think he might be more active on sport-touring.net, so might try and get him there.

Sorry, been a long weekend.
Yeah I've got about 6k on it right now. I was on pace for over 10, but had a slow 2nd half of the year. I really don’t have too many complaints with the bike. It's the first new bike I've ever owned and it still wild to have people approach you at gas stations or wherever about it. Usually older guys saying "I didn't know triumph made that kind of bike!"
Jeff put it nicely, I'm a big guy (read fat ass). But have no issues with 500-mile day rides on it. I think because I'm tall I don’t have to reach out and stretch across the bike like someone shorter would have to. But make sure to sit on one and test it out. It is an aggressive ergo bike.
The sound...amazing.
Triumph did have a problem with the coating on the inside of the tank, so if you look at an 06 make sure to open the cover and give a look. It's the white coating for the insdie of the tank. It bubbles and peels around the edge inside, solook for it. I had mine replaced on warranty.
The underseat exhaust doesn't bother me too much. Unless stuck in traffic. Since I almost never go anywhere but north from southern NH, I almost never get stuck in traffic.Going from draggin Jean to leathers helped here too.
www.triumph675.net has a ton of information. Do a search on just about anything you can think of and you'll find info.
Triumph is not changing anything for 07 except for adding the color black. Which looks pretty dam sweet.
Most Triumph shops allow test rides, see if you can squeeze one in next warm semi-warm day.
Any specific questions I can help with let me know.
So Jeff, havent seen too many of your normal "leaving now" posts. You quit the street once the track bug hit you?
I have one.
So far have about 8000 miles on it.
Ping me off list and I'll give you the low-down
Why did that take so long to figure out who this is? Is no place safe on the internet?![]()
