Hmmmmm...cords...well, the individual still has some room to wiggle, its when you get past the metal into the last layer of fabric when you start messing with fate...even then you're just waiting for the tire to deflate-as long is its the rear you're fine, the centrifugal force will keep the tire "inflated". Thats what the rim is for. The last 5 miles to the dealership, psssh.
