And you can bring it to a track day and we can swap bikes so you can compare the 890R to this back to back :D

Awesome. How do I get in line for ride-swapping with these bikes?
I can contribute a 790cc sumo thumper, a KTM 990, or a Monkey125 - if you think you can handle the power.
(Maybe even a Hyper1100 if I somehow manage to find a bunch of time and motivation over the winter)
I was in the market for a Husqvarna 701, but now seeing this.
What Ducati dealer would be best around Massachusetts as I’ve never been to one
I end up at Seacoast Sport Cycle in Dover NH if I want a new Ducati, Aprilia or Moto Guzzi. Familiar faces there from the club racing crew.
There are shops in MA, but Seacoast is worth the drive. They race what they sell, and so know the bikes inside out and upside down, literally.
:kix: pricing is a straight up nut shot, and to get the whoolie app ($400) you need to also have the $3k Termi exhaust....
at the 6:50 mark he talks about the $$$ (I'd start there, rest of the vid is kinda cheezy)

this clip already has the Termi installed

and I guess I miss some of this before, so nothing new other than the sound....my bad:mecry: carry on...
I confess that this bike really impresses me at the press launch reviews. The brake slide control and wheelie control are next level.
Wheelie control update requires adding the optional exhaust and air box to unlock it to another level. Wheelie shutdown by the IMU/ECU throttle override is raised to the balance point. Now for those of us that can balance point a wheelie on most bikes this may be unneeded. But for those that can rip a wheelie and want to have a safety net to keep from looping this is supposed to answer that. Anyone that has the new RC LOSI MX dirt bike knows that that RC bike has three levels of wheelie control with one of the options being a straight up 12 o'clock balance point. This Duc now has that feature when you unlock it with the optional hardware.
Brake slide control is on Ducati's flagship bikes already. Putting it on a hyper moto makes sense and sounds like a lot of fun. If you have ridden Sumo bikes this brake slide is a complex mix of hard front end braking with the rear getting light at tip in it drifts wide by use of down shift clutch drag. Seems like Ducati will do that with a mash on both brakes at tip in. With the IMU keep the wheels from locking or losing grip while tipping in with lean sensitive IMU doing all the work. Would I try it? YUP! Worth testing it with my $15K bike? Hmmm maybe, maybe not...
I sat on on the other night at the NEMRR banquet. Pretty close to my 690 KTM it terms of height and length. In otherwords, a little too tall for me as a daily. Style wise, it's pretty, but not that much prettier than my hyperstrada. I would love to try out those electronics though. Or put them on my hyper.

 betting the $5k exhaust & race tune clean up that A/F ratio for smooth whoolies...
