Stupid VFR riders...
The bike has very, very lean stock fuel injection causing some misbehavior under certain riding conditions.
For some reason the logic in trying to figure this out is:
a) (Optional) Ask other riders why the bike is like this. Recieve answer that the bike runs lean and a power commander will fix it
b) Complain thatt $270 for a Power Commander is a rip off
c) Spend $1000 for a pair staintune slip ons which lean the bike out even more
d) Complain that the bike is still acting weird
e) Spend $20 (?) on a K&N Air filter that is supposed to flow more air.
f) Complain that the bike is still acting weird
g) Spend $30 for a pair of O2 eliminators despite Dynojet saying they are for use with the PCIII.
h) Complain that the bike is still acting weird
i) Finally buy a power commander. Don't read the instructions. Don't select the correct map. Don't set the throttle position sensor.
j) Take the PCIII out and say it didn't work and it's a bad product.
k) Convince self that bike is running great..
l) Wait 3 months and then complain some more that the bike is still not running great.
Thanks for listening. There is no need for you to ever read a VFR forum now, I have just told you what 99.999% of the discussion is about.
