First I see this guy who is on a new R1 lumbering through town, without a helmet, jeans and some type of low cut shoe. But he has on a leather jacket and these little red gloves that match the jacket perfectly.
Then there's a guy on some type of green Kawi with a huge ass rear tire and a temp plate. His helmet is a bandanna and his jacket is a sweatshirt. No matching gloves though.
Maybe they were on their way to pick up their helmets at the dealer, but it just seems so weird that someone would go out of their way to wear matching gloves but no helmet on a bike that goes 180+ Then there's people like me over here wondering if the back padding in the kevlar jacket is going to be safe enough or do I need the back protector for day trips too.
It makes me wonder what the split is of "riders" versus "owners"...
What % of sport bike riders have bikes mostly for the image?
What % of crusier riders do the same?
What about touring bikes?
How about naked bikes?
How about all bikes?
