    Duplicate MSO?

    Quick question, has anyone ever gotten a duplicate MSO for a bike? I’ve heard the original owner can apply for a duplicate, this is for a Yamaha.

    Short story, I purchase an ATV new about 5 years ago, financed a portion of it and the dealer ended up giving me a copy of the MSO and sent the original to the finance company. I got the release when I paid it off 4 years ago, they never sent the MSO and said they don’t collect them.

    If you have a duplicate MSO you should be fine. Duplicates for lost ones are excepted at the RMV.
    I would check again with the dealer to see if they still have it! just incase.
