But yeah, probably going to just order a bunch someday. As you say, useful stuff.

Rarely seen a line at the NH office @ the trade port in Newington. Staff are crabby old beotches though. Like DMV staff.

Yep. I did that when i had my VTX. I was worried about possible interference if I bottomed out the front suspension, but it never happened.

Who'll be the first to velcro it to their helmet?

First you screw, then you bolt.

I've been doing this for 3 years. The trick is make sure to keep the velcro things facing up as if they were on a winshield.

Also, in NYC if you're coming over the Henry Hudson Bridge and your pass doesn't register. DO NOT go around the gate.

I leave mine under the seat. As long as you don't have a laptop or something metal covering it, it will work fine. If there aren't toll booths (like open lanes with sensors above), you can always just ride the line and not pay a toll at all

I just called EZ Pass NY and I can confirm that if you link your bike with your EZ pass account, you can just ride through the tolls and it'll still bill you normally. No need to keep a tag on you or the bike!

    Re: EasyPass transponder location.

Thanks guys. I am going to link my transponder with my bike then stuff it in my tank bag. If it hits it hits else hopefully they will just debit my account.

If you link the bike to your pass and go over the Newport bridge, make sure you use the fast lane (can't use it if going to Jamestown) if you question your transponder will work or not, or don't have it on you. If you don't have it on you and go to the swing gates, you're paying full price.

Well, a bit of input from everyone actually. I thought post #10 was "just leave it at home". I am going to link the transponder with my bike and carry the transponder in my tank bag. More specifically on top in the clear plastic map pocket.

I tried the ole "pull it out of ya jacket" yesterday. Just as I pull it out of my jacket a rabbit runs in front of my bike. I really only had one hand so I leaned forward and gave it some throttle. Luckily the bunny managed to juke his way around my tire. I wont be doing that again.

I dont mind riding with one hand but one handed with something in my hand that prevents me from gripping or pulling in the clutch is not fun.

    Re: EasyPass transponder location.

I use a Stem mount, and it stays put. It has work everytime. I have velcro, so I can take off the transponder. I've lost a few trying to mount on windshields, and fairings.

You may can find them cheaper, but it's the best thing I've used so far.

    Good Luck
