    Educate me on Barkbusters

I'm thinking of adding these to the VFR1200X as an improvement over the OEM.

Looking for better coverage and durability and the Storm looks like what I want.

Help me better understand one point vs. two point attachment and hollow vs threaded bars.

My initial guess is that I have a hollow bar and the 2 point attachment is more durable.

Does removing the OEM bar end weights and attaching the Barkbusters increase vibration through the bars?

TT has got to have some gandetry by now that allows you to have both weights and a B.B. anchor at the end of your bars.
However, if you’re just looking for wind deflection, I’d look for some of the flag type “handgruards”, and leave your weights as is.

Edit: B.B. themselves offer their own weights for wraparound guards...
Accessory - Bar End Weight (EXTERNAL) - Barkbusters

But if you want the storms, just get the version with the clamp mount like this:
STORM Handguard - Single Point Clamp Mount (25.4mm) - Barkbusters
But with whichever clamp fits the bars on your bike, tapered or non, straight, or with the “trough” to clear the cables/hoses.
This is most definitely something tt should stock, and you can just go and get.

Thanks, I’m looking for both highway wind deflection and off-pavement protection.

I think the TT package with the bar weights looks like the right package.

I have the Storms on my Tiger Explorer. You'll love 'em.
