Anyone else a fan of British Superbikes?

I lived in the UK for about 4 years and used to love going to the BSB races at Brands Hatch. They are kind of like what the early - mid 90's of AMA superbike racing was like.

They get lots of international riders. Like Ryuichi Kiyonari, John Hopkins nearly took the championship about 2 years ago.

The racing is great, the bikes and presentation are all top notch. The tracks are mental (everyone probably recognizes the jumping superbike pics from Cadwell park)

If you have VPN, you can watch most of the races on British ITV online.

Anyhow, the 2015 Yamaha's have broken cover for the BSB series. It's gonna be a very interesting year.

Love watching BSB. Probably the best thing to use the DVR for. I'd like to make it to see a few of their races in person, especially Cadwell Park.

Seriously, one of the greatest tracks for spectating is Brands Hatch. Even with a cheap lens I was getting super close up shots of the racers.

Me too, I read an article about bsb awhile ago, I was shocked to learn how little some of the guys make. And how many races they have during the weekend.

I feel like I know some of the riders because of the Isle Of Man series

Some good names in there, hopefully the sport can be revived.
I really miss the old Loudon Classic days

Amen to that! I really miss the good old days of AMA racing. It used to be the strongest national road racing series on the planet.

Sadly I don't think it will ever come back to Loudon, seeing as how it's never really been brought up to proper standards.

I found some old snaps I took at Infineon (aka Sears) raceway back when it was Mladin vs Spies vs the Bostroms vs Duhamel vs Hodgson and so on...

And Tommy Hayden was still a supersport champ...
