In the summer time I often just wore that and the prerequisite duct tape.
Just wear the nipple tape next time

Re: Enduro/ADV crash gear
I have an underarmor underneath and im fine. but im also 5'8 160# and don't sweat enough
Re: Enduro/ADV crash gear
I'm 6'2" 230 I sweat like a whore in church.
Chipper must have some super chaffy nipples.
Re: Enduro/ADV crash gear
We’ve been over this before. Nips+tape=chafe free ripper.
Re: Enduro/ADV crash gear
Put deodorant on your nips, old running trick. Works great for me.

This is more or less what I've settled on for now - knee guards & padded shorts for now as my legs are taking a serious beating. Then some armor and tougher boots in the spring when it starts to warm up.

+1
Can't imagine riding without upper body protection. I'd have busted an elbow or four by now.
But then I crash a lot.
I tend to start my day with a poly shirt as my base, armor jacket over that, and jersey on top of that. If hot I shed the jersey and with just the poly shirt and armor jacket I am fine as long as we are moving.
Colder days I layer under and over.

Unfortunately, anything tight enough to stay in place on your elbows in a crash is going to contribute to arm pump, IMO

I thought so til i bought the leatt 3d shirt. Stays put and no arm pump. It is HOT though. Can't have it all i suppose

One more good experience with the leatt. Wore it all week at bootcamp. Crashed many times an i had the least roadrash of anyone. Just a tiny spot on my shoulder where the pad rubbed.
