    Enduro/DS Rear Bags

Have a new Immix rack coming for the DR350, and looking at bag options for day trips and minimal overnights.

I have the Cortech 24L tail bag and it's great, but too wide and has shitty mounting options. Thinking something around 10-11" wide, around 20-25L at most, rugged enough to stay on the bike and take a beating on trails, but easy to remove/swap out for my StS extended dry bag.

    Thoughts? Experiences? General heckling?

Not what I was imagining but actually pretty damn nice looking. Tools/day gear in the side bags, room on the rack for overnight gear and extra fuel... hmm..

Mosko Moto | Waterproof Motorcycle Luggage . High quality off-road bags made for use with a rack or stand alone. Super durable. I have the Giant Loop, it's an awesome piece, but don't think that is the right application in this instance. And you should think of a fuel bladder for your extra fuel. Less bulky, and you can strap it on anywhere it will fit. Good Luck.

Also consider the dryspec line offered through twisted throttle.
I'm sure some of the wolfman stuff would do. Lots of great options.

Wolf man, giant loop, and dirtbagz seem to be the most popular. The key is cinching everything down so nothing moves at all.

Default to Wolfman although I have a DrySpec double ended bag. Usually buy through Revzilla.

I have the dryspec d28 . Great bag that I've secured to many bikes in a multitude of locations

I have Giant Loop Mojavis on my CRF250L all the time. They're durable and water-hostile, but imho smaller than you want.

    Re: Enduro/DS Rear Bags

I have a Givi rack on the back of my DR350 and I have a sorta ratty 45L case that I use on it for commuting/errands. Not terribly durable for using off-road though.

I would search CL for a used Pelican / Storm case, and bolt it to the rack. They're practically indestructible, waterproof, and lockable with a padlock. You can use wing nuts on the inside for easy on and off.

I've had a hardon to get a Giant loop Mojave. But that Wolfman stuff looks titty Croissants as well...

    Re: Enduro/DS Rear Bags

I've got a few Wolfman products and they all seem well constructed and well thought out. Street tank bag, and their front and back enduro fender bags.

For offroad riding with a larger bag, I'd prefer low-n-wide over a tall bag. Want the ability to hover over the seat and shift your pelvis bag without bumping in to stuff. And keep the weight low.

    Re: Enduro/DS Rear Bags

Man, I'm really torn. I'm liking the giant loop and the Mosko Moto gear looks dank.

Not keen on anything top-heavy, or saddle bags that'll be wagging around all day. I like the style/concept of the giant loop and Mosko Moto Reckless system for a longer trip, then maybe a smaller bag and fuel on the rack.

This is going to take some meditation

The new rack came in today and mounted up in 10 minutes. Bigger and much more rugged than I was expecting, but very impressed with the quality.
