    ex250 w/ stage 3 injectors

I'm considering buying a used ex250. The seller has installed stage 3 injectors. From the dynojet instructions some drilling and calibration of the fuel mixture is needed. Let's assume the owner is young, first bike. How worried should I be?

I'm not much of a wrench (I'll do oil and brake pad changes).

Don't be worried. If it runs, and runs well, then the previous owner didn't mess up the jet kit. You can always swap back to a stage 1 for cheap. Stage 3 is intended for a higher flow exhaust and no airbox.

BTW, injectors are for fuel injected bikes. Proper terminology is "jets".

I wouldnt worry about it too much if the bike rides good and starts good. technically the 250 and the 500 ninjas dont really even need a jet kit for exhaust changes. They are tuned pig rich from the factory. If you go the ninja250 forums or ex500forum you should be able to get all the info you need.

Hmm, from the seller's pictures it looks like a stock exhaust. No mention of exhaust or air box mods, this could be interesting. I'll check with the seller.
    I found http://faq.ninja250.org. Thanks.

best thing about those bikes, if they don't run right, just put it back to stock & you're golden.

Jetting those things is like tryin to squeeze blood from a stone.
